OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

TRACKSS provides several programmes, qualifications and courses that are not part of the mainstream RQF programme. These include our own Customer Awareness Briefing (CAB) and Continuing Competence Briefing (for the CIWM (WAMITAB) biannual on-line test). Also, TRACKSS can guide learners who are looking for assistance with Literacy and Numeracy programmes.

Continuing competence

Site managers who hold a Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC) or Operator Competence Certificate (OCC) are now required to undertake and demonstrate Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This is done through CIWM (WAMITAB). This organisation has been given the job of making sure that CoTC and OCC holders have up-to-date knowledge. This is achieved by CoTC and OCC holders sitting a short, computer-based, multiple choice test every two years. The tests are held at recognised training centres (the same centres that carry out the driving licence theory tests).

TRACKSS' one-day programme is designed as a short revision course and covers key aspects of the legislation and related matters that CoTC and OCC holders are expected to know and could be tested on.

At the end of the short course, participants can take a practice test and discuss their results with their TRACKSS associate.

Customer Awareness Briefing (CAB)

In response to a request from one of our major clients, we developed our own CAB.

The programme is designed for those "on the customer front line", for example, Civic Amenity / Recycling sites, Waste / Recyclates Collection crews, Street Cleansing Operatives.

Our CAB is a one-day programme delivered by one or two of our associates who guide groups employees (usually 6-12) through the lap-top based scenarios and information. The training events are normally held on client premises and successful delegates are awarded a TRACKSS Certificate.

Tool Box Talks

We are able to draw upon the wide range of skills and expertise of our associates to provide tailor-made Tools Box Talks for clients in the format of their choice.

Train the Trainer

This one day programme is designed for those who need to build up their skills and confidence in delivering, for example, Tool Box Talks to their work force.

EPOC

The Environmental Permitting Operator Competence award is available only through the CIWM. See:
